Young Ambassador Isobel Holloway Leading The Way

Isobel is an amazing 18-year-old young lady that contacted our charity to offer help by way of volunteering during COVID-19.

Isobel was looking to volunteer because she had to come back from university much sooner than anticipated and wanted to do something positive in her local community. With DBS clearance, Isobel asked that we put her in touch with the Sale Hub - Trafford Community Response. She is now on the central volunteer list.

Isobel is going to also be helping out in Silk Elephant's #GiftofaCuppa and #GiftofaHeart campaign and she will be looking at ways that we can involve children in a socially distanced activity in the community, in Sale.

She is studying first-year Psychology at the University of Bristol. She is a former student of Knutsford Academy and went to local primary schools in Sale, South Manchester (Moorlands Primary school and Templemoor). Her hobbies include yoga, walking/running. She is also involved in a student-led volunteering organisation at university that takes children with learning difficulties on fun day trips.

It is so fantastic to see young people engaged in the community volunteering at this challenging time. Thank you - Isobel.
