you are brave, beautiful & loved
Our very own elephant logo has come to life in #LittleELE in our #NeverForget campaign for children and adults with a life-limiting illness/disease, injury, or disability. We are collecting handmade elephants from our Creative Volunteers and distributing these across hospitals, hospices, care/nursing homes, and families across the UK. #LittleELE was born to bring smiles and love. You can also nominate a child to receive a gift.
We are so grateful for the safety standard knitting pattern kindly donated by the very talented, Edith Webb who designs and creates costumes for film and theatre. For sending elephants to children, please follow the charity patterns that are CE compliant and toy safety standards. Both wool and stuffing must comply with EN71-3. Please contact us for a list of compliant wool and stuffing. (All Hobbycraft wool and stuffing is compliant).
We are also sending elephant keepsakes to elderly care/nursing homes letting them know #Neverforget you are always loved. A a time, when many elderly cannot be with family, we are sending love.
We now have more than 650 Creative Volunteers across the UK, kindly making elephants for the charity and sending them to our central HQ or one of our Kindness Ambassador hubs.
